Resource Conservation is exactly that. The conservation of our natural resources as it pertains to buildings. Would you beleive that through conventional construction, a 2000 SF house on average produces 7000 pounds of waste.

There are ways to reduce this waste as well as use materials that are certified  as having a minimal impact on the environment.

Some examples include:

• Use of renewable materials such as bamboo, cork, natural fiber carpet
• Reclaimed materials such as lumber, millwork, flooring
• Reuse or recycle of construction demolition materials
• Use of recycle content decking, ceramic tiles, glass tiles or counters
